In Alpine tradition, the annual migration to the mountain pastures sets the rhythm of the year. The cattle make their way up to the pastures in the spring, spend the summer there, and return down in the fall. Three concerts (morning, noon and night) serve as a canvas for this journey. An evening blending concert, opera, performance, and theater, set to contemporary classical music, featuring world premieres by Andreas Trenkwalder, Andri Joel Harrison, and Carl Tertio Druml.​​
